How to make something like this:

Step 1: Open up your picture. i’m using this one. (always use hq picture!)

Step 2: Change the background color of the picture. (use quick selection tool or whatever tool you want to use, select the person, right click>select inverse, go to layer>new fill layer>solid color). more details on removing the background here. I use #d6b98b for background color. 

Step 3: Resize your picture. I’m resizing it to 245px by 245px

Step 4: you should have something like this

Step 5: Add coloring/psd to your picture. I’m using my own coloring. 

Step 6: Save and open up this texture on photoshop. Drag the texture to your picture OR on the texture, go to select>all. go to your picture and click edit>paste.

Step 7: Set the texture blending mood from normal to screen. Adjust the texture using the move tool. Make sure the arrangement of your layer is like this:

Step 8: You can add other texture such grainy textures etc. After you’ve done everything go to layer>flatten image. Save and you’re done!
