How to make glow effects

I’m going to use this picture. and psd here.

it’s not the same psd as i use like the preview but it’s a bit closer.

Step 1: Open up your photoshop as well as your picture.

Step 2: Start editing your picture. add the psd, sharpen whatever you want to do with that picture but don’t over edit it.

Step 3: After you’ve finish editing, go to layer>merge visible.

Step 4: Duplicate the background layer by going to layer>duplicate layer.

Step 5: On the background copy, go to filter>blur>gaussian blur. something will pop up. change the number of radius to 14.0 pixels.

Step 6: Now, change the blend mood to screen. (x)

Step 7: Using the eraser tool, erase it over the person.

Step 8: Add vibrance layer. vibrance; 100. saturation; 0.

Step 9: Add hue/saturation layer. hue; 0. saturation; +14, lightness; 0. (x)

Step 10: Go to layer>merge visible. save as jpeg and you’re done!
